Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for and use Storia (this minimum age applies to the entire platform, not just mature-content features). If we learn an account belongs to someone under this age, we will suspend or remove it immediately.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person only — do not share your login credentials with anyone else.

3. AI-Generated Content Is Not a Real Person

Every character on Storia is an AI. Responses generated by a character are automated content for entertainment purposes only — not professional advice, not a real relationship, and not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental-health guidance.

4. Your Content

You own the characters, messages, and other content you create ("User Content"). By using Storia, you grant us a license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service — including sending messages to an AI processing provider to generate responses.

5. Absolutely Prohibited Content

Regardless of your mature-content settings, the following is never allowed on Storia:

• Sexual content involving minors in any form, with zero exceptions
• Illegal content, including content that incites real-world harm
• Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• Impersonating a real person without their consent
• Malware, system attacks, or infringement of others' intellectual property

6. Mature Content

Storia lets you opt into mature content only after you self-attest your age via Settings. Full details on consent tiers, verification, and visibility controls are on the Safety & Community Guidelines page.

7. Publishing Characters to the Community

Publishing a character to the Community is entirely opt-in. You confirm you own or have the right to share that content. Once published, the public-facing name shown is a name you choose, not your email or real account details.

8. Moderation and Takedown

We may remove content or suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms at any time without prior notice. Public characters reported by 3 distinct users are automatically hidden from the Community pending review.

9. Plans and Billing

Storia offers a Free plan and a Premium plan at 199 THB/month. There is no free trial. Payments are processed through Stripe (currently in test mode — no real charges occur yet). Pricing and benefits may change; we will give reasonable advance notice of changes that affect you.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel Premium at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, not immediately. Refunds are considered on a manual, case-by-case basis only — there are no automatic refunds. If a payment fails, your account is immediately downgraded to Free with no grace period.

11. Account Termination

You can delete your own account at any time via Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your characters, conversations, messages, and memories — this cannot be undone. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unpredictable. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of AI-generated content.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
